Leah Farmer has joined Appalachian Community Federal Credit Union (ACFCU) as branch manager of the Norton, Va. location.

Farmer, a native of Clintwood, Va., is a graduate of Clintwood High School. She brings 12 years of financial experience and 14 years of management experience.

In her new role with ACFCU, Farmer will oversee all operations at the Norton branch to ensure the branch meets or exceeds all credit union business and service goals. Her responsibilities will include enhancing member satisfaction, advancing service performance, and fostering community relationships and partnerships.

She and her husband, Dustin, reside in Wise, Va., with their two sons, Brayden and Gavin. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors kayaking with her family.
