Appalachian Community Federal Credit Union (ACFCU) recently announced the addition of Miles Snider as Chief Lending Officer.   

Snider brings more than three decades of experience in commercial banking and lending, with a strong background in credit analysis, portfolio management, and relationship development across a wide range of industries. In his new role, he will oversee the credit union’s lending strategy, portfolio growth, and credit risk management, while continuing to enhance member-focused lending solutions.

Prior to joining ACFCU, Snider served as Senior Credit Analyst at First Community Bank of East Tennessee.  His career also includes extensive experience as a Commercial Relationship Manager with several major financial institutions, where he successfully built and managed diverse loan portfolios spanning manufacturing, healthcare, retail, construction, and professional services.

Snider holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Emory & Henry University, where he graduated cum laude. He is also a graduate of Leadership Kingsport and Leadership Johnson City and has served on the boards of NETTA, United Way of Johnson City, and Speedway Children’s Charities. He and his wife, Kim, reside in Gray and are the parents of Merrick and Lindyn.
